In order to facilitate the arrival of Argentine products to the world, the Argentine Foreign Ministry and the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade launched a new distribution center in the Singapore Free Trade Zone.
It is the seventh Argentine distribution center, which joins those operating in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Panama, Dubai and Antwerp. The new hub makes Argentine companies more competitive by facilitating access for their products to Southeast Asia.
Thanks to the coordinated work between the Argentine Foreign Ministry and the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade (AAICI), a new logistics hub began operating in Singapore This will facilitate Argentine exporters' access to the most dynamic region in the world. This country has the best existing transport infrastructure and a logistics capacity that has made it the main distribution centre for Southeast Asia.
The hub tool makes Argentine companies more competitive by allowing them to reduce the delivery times of their products, offer their customers the merchandise at their destination, speed up negotiations, avoid stock shortages and improve control of their shipments.
In this framework, exporters can access an exclusive line of credit from BICE, which finances between 75% and 100% of the value of sales. They also have the following benefits:
-Operate with minimum order quantities.
-Condition the product at destination.
-Avoid distributors that make products more expensive.
The logistics hub program was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the AAICI and the network of embassies and consulates abroad to facilitate Argentine exports in strategic markets.
The opening of the hub in Singapore adds to those already existing in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dubai, Antwerp and Panama.
