The Federation of Beekeeping Cooperatives (Fecoapi) exported 100 kilos of fractionated honey to Colombia. This was the first shipment of honey abroad using the Simple Export system, which offers significant benefits and does not pay export duties.
Fecoapi sent fractionated honey by air from different points in the province of Buenos Aires in glass containers of 500 grams each, according to the Secretariat of Government of Agroindustry.
The shipment left with the ROYAL brand, which was one of the companies registered by Fecoapi to be able to carry out this operation and which belongs to the target client for its gourmet products.
«Our honey is recognized worldwide for being a product of excellent quality., the result of the great work carried out throughout the year by our beekeepers", highlighted the Secretary of Family Agriculture, Coordination and Territorial Development, Santiago Hardie.

Hardie highlighted the work of the technicians from the Buenos Aires coordination of the Secretariat; the National Directorate of Food and Beverages; and the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade (AAICI), who accompanied the cooperative throughout the entire process.
Argentina is the second largest honey exporter and the third largest producer worldwide, with exports of around 180 million dollars annually.
