The national government formalized the creation of the Special Unit – Argentine Presidency 2018 to carry out the coordination of the actions of the G20 Presidency.
This is what the Decree 985 / 2017, published on Thursday (30.11.2017), in the Official Gazette with the signature of Mauricio Macri, Marcos Peña and Jorge Faurie.
The Special Unit, dependent on the Office of the Chief of Ministers, will have three features, according to the new standard:
Coordinate Argentina's participation in its role as President of the G20 Forum from December 1, 2017 to November 30, 2018, in all aspects related to the development of content, definition of priorities and articulation of the agenda by thematic axes.
Coordinate and articulate Argentina's participation in the various forums and working groups that make up the G20 Sherpa Channel, within the scope of the Office of the Chief of Ministers.
Monitor the tasks assigned by the National Executive Branch in the forums, committees and working groups of the G20 Sherpa Channel, for the scope of the Office of the Chief of Ministers.
