The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries added this Tuesday (02.04.2023) new products to the third edition of the Export Increase Program for encourage the settlement of foreign currencythrough Resolution 162/2023.
Now, products like the yerba mate and the meat of animals of the goat species They will also be able to access the dollar at $300 for the settlement of foreign currency for exports made until October 31, according to the regulations published in the Official Gazette.
The official text highlighted that “through these stimulus programs, we seek to promote territorial roots, added value, industrialization at origin and the increase of exports through harmonious socioeconomic development, among the different links of the value chains of regional economies.”
He also stressed that "heterogeneity in productivity, integration in the world and the productive matrix of the different chains are especially relevant in determining the scope of this measure."
The requirements for all products from regional economies that those interested in accessing the benefits of the program must meet are to have exported the goods at some point in the 18 months immediately prior to the entry into force of Decree 194/2023, as well as to assume the commitment to maintain or increase the number of jobs.
They must also commit to supplying the local market with these goods, maintaining or increasing the supply volumes recorded in the 18 months prior to the validity of the aforementioned decree.
Finally, they will have to comply with the Fair Prices program or the price agreements for the local market established in this regard by the Ministry of Commerce.
The measure is effective immediately.
