Four international travelers were placed in preventive detention after being caught transporting drugs by inspectors from the National Customs Service. The detections were made during controls carried out on passengers and cargo at the Chacalluta border crossing between Chile and Peru.
The first case was the merchant's Colombian, who was trying to enter Chile with 2 rectangular packages containing 4 kilos 825 grams of ketamine powder.

Then, based on risk profiles, the inspectors intercepted the citizens. Chilean with 1 kilo 570 grams of liquid ketamine and with 1 kilo 240 grams of ketamine powder.

Finally, he stopped at Peruvian who was caught carrying 4 kilos 775 grams of cocaine hydrochloride in the false bottom of his suitcase. He received the drug in Lima and was supposed to deliver it in Arica.

All those involved, along with the drugs and evidence, were handed over to the police on duty.
