The event is organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) together with the Ministry of Production and Labor and the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade.
The minister pointed out that the key to development lies in innovation within companies and it has been proven that all countries that have invested and generated innovation mechanisms have greatly improved their GDP per capita.
Argentina needs to increase investment in innovation because it is the only way to grow, ensure development and generate quality jobs.
Sica said that new technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, blockchain, among others, are revolutionizing business and we have to rise to the challenge.
The event is very important because it can mobilize a large sector that is very relevant for Argentina, not only for its impact but because it affects all sectors. We hope to take advantage of it, so that everyone can come, attract investments and continue growing in exports, he said.
