The Government of Argentina distributed the amount of 855,882 tons of beef destined for Colombia, according to quotas and tariff reductions and preferences that remain in force with the signing of the Economic Complementation Agreement No. 72 between the States Parties of Mercosur and Member Countries of the Andean Community.
According to Resolution 4 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, published this Friday (14.01.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, the tonnage corresponds to Quota II “Other Courts” not included in Quota I, corresponding to tariff items 0201.30.00, 0202.30.00, 0206.10.00, 0206.21.00, 0206.22.00, 0206.29.10, 0206.29.90, 0210.20.00 and 0504.00 of the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur (NCM 2017).
The regulations indicated that the quota was awarded to interested parties with prior registration, complying with the corresponding health authorizations granted by SENASA.
Finally, the resolution clarified that the allocated amount must be sent to Colombia. until the 31 of December of 2022.-
