July tax collection grew 31,8%: AFIP

Tax collection in July grew 31,8% compared to the same month last year, totaling $237.325,8 million, thanks to the good performance of taxes linked to the domestic market, reported the head of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP), Alberto Abad.

"Consumption-related taxes have grown faster than inflation," Abad said this afternoon during a press conference in which he presented the figures for July's tax collection.

The official gave this as an example The level of VAT collection related to consumption increased by 34,8% in year-on-year terms, to total $64.240 billion, well above the 22% increase that reflected inflation in the same period.

The best performances in tax matters They signed up for the Income tax, with a year-on-year increase of 40% and just over $50.700 billion raised; followed by contributions to the Social Security, with a 29% improvement and income of $73.430 billion; and Personal Property, with a progress of 90%, with $3.300 billion taxed.

The Export duties rose 3,4% compared to twelve months ago, with revenues of almost $7.900 billion.
