The national government has put into effect the amendment protocol corresponding to avoiding double taxation between the Republic of Brazil and preventing tax evasion with respect to income taxes.
With the publication of the Decree 479 / 2018 In the Official Gazette of this Wednesday (23.5.2018), the 27.441 law through approval by the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies of the understanding reached with that country, held in the city of Mendoza on July 21, 2017.
The amendment protocol consists of twenty-eight articles, a certified copy of which is part of the law. The approval of the amendment was signed by the vice president, Gabriela Michetti; the president of the lower house, Emilio Monzó; and the parliamentary secretaries, Eugenio Inchausti and Juan Pedro Tunessi.
Through the law, it is establishes la elimination of double taxation with Brazil for service companies based in Argentina.
These are companies that offer accounting, legal, architectural, engineering, audiovisual, advertising, IT services, among other areas.
This new instrument is part of the fiscal transparency strategy and the G-20 recommendations on requiring responsible fiscal behaviour.
