-

The Confederation of Customs Agents Associations of the Mexican Republic (CAAAREM) presented at an event this Tuesday (09.08.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX) the guidelines for the electronic transmission of the value and commercialization document (DVC), a record that must be communicated to the Electronic Customs System prior to the dispatch of the merchandise.

The technological and operational specifications of the DVC were spearheaded by the Director of Customs Modernization, Alberto Martínez Ordoñez, and the Deputy Director of Customs Modernization, Miguel Ángel Peláez, both officials of the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM).

At the virtual meeting of CAAAREM, Martínez Ordoñez referred to the background of the customs project. “On Monday, August 01, Bulletin No. 21 was published, through which the Guidelines for the electronic transmission of the Value and Commercialization Document to the Electronic Customs System (SEA) were made known,” he indicated.

He also noted that ANAM has completed the development of a computer system for receiving such DVC.

"The necessary infrastructure has been implemented to support the volume of DVC transmissions through web services and the SEA portal," added the head of Customs Modernization.

In the exhibition, Martínez Ordoñez highlighted the authorized profiles that can capture or transmit the information to the SEA. In this regard, he mentioned the Customs Agent, Customs Representative, Agent, Customs Agency, Importer and Exporter.

He also explained the scheme of JSON authorization, an automated part in the Customs computer system, with security mechanisms to ensure that information travels safely.

The authority referred to the list of documents equivalents that must be transmitted and the generation of the capture of a DVC within the Agency Portal.

Finally, it was said that Customs is working on an “Automotive Industry F 2” in order to adapt only the guidelines to the new electronic scheme, news that will be published soon.

In closing, Martínez Ordoñez stressed to the participants that the structure, data and system are ready for use in this trial period. And requested support to make improvements by sending identified points to the institutional email:
