-

The collection in July reached one trillion 745.178 billion pesos, with a 87% increase year-on-year, which marked an increase in the expansion of fiscal resources compared to previous months, the Ministry of Economy reported today (01.08.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX).

This growth was driven by the growth of the Tax on Profits, Personal Property Tax, and Social Security resources.

Regarding the 79% increase in Social Security resources, its expansion was explained by salary improvements and the growth of registered employment.

The increase is due to the 81% growth in Employer Contributions to $245.108 million, and the 78,6% increase in Personal Contributions to just over $175.000 million.

"Taxes that grant progressiveness to the system registered, as a whole, an increase of 126,4% year-on-year," said the Ministry of the Economy.

This increase was, on the one hand, "the result of the receipt of the second installment of the payment facility plan for the balance of the 2021 fiscal year and the second advance for the 2022 fiscal year of the Companies with a balance sheet closing in December, corresponding to the Income Tax" which increased 118% to $396.759 million.

The first installment of the payment plan for individuals was also affected, in addition to the remaining tax returns not filed in June.

Furthermore, improvements in the labor market and the reform implemented in 2021 to the tax rates applicable to companies (Law No. 27.630) had a positive influence on the collection of the tax.

For its part, the Tax on Personal property, with just over $31.700 billion, registered a growth of 300%, as a result of the payment on account and the first installment of the payment facility plan to finance the balance of the sworn declaration of Natural Persons, plus the payment of the remaining balance of the sworn declarations that were not entered in June.

Taxes linked to recent economic activity also contributed to the growth of national revenue.

Within this group are the Tax on Credits and Debits, with $124.400 billion and an increase of 85%; and in the case of VAT, about $490.800 billion, and an increase of 82%.

Meanwhile, taxes Co-participating Interns rose 66% to $31.700 billion, and the tax on liquid fuels, 14% to almost $35.000 billion.
