The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) extends until September 30 the deadlines for taxpayers to pay their Income Tax obligations and, if applicable, Personal Property Tax in up to three installments and with a 25% down payment. The agency also extended for two months the benefits of permanent payment plans, in relation to the number of installments and affiliated plans.
The measures, which are published this Monday (01.08.2022) in the Official Gazette, aim to assist taxpayers and responsible parties in fulfilling their tax obligations, in order to generate the necessary conditions to strengthen the recovery of economic activity and preserve sources of employment.
Earnings and Personal Assets
LGeneral Resolution 5243/2022 The law, which will be published on Monday in the Official Gazette, establishes that taxpayers can pay their income tax obligations and, if applicable, their personal property tax obligations in up to three installments and with a 25% down payment. It also provides that the agency will not consider the taxpayers' Risk Profile System (SIPER) category when processing plans to regularize their obligations. The benefit applies to taxpayers included in categories A, B, C or D and excludes those categorized as "very high risk", category E.
The “Risk Profile System” is a computerized rating system that carries out monthly evaluation processes on the compliance of citizens with their formal and material obligations.
Permanent payment plans
With the same regulation, AFIP granted until September 30 a temporary validity corresponding to the number of admissible payment plans, as well as the number of installments and the financing interest rate applicable in the permanent payment facility regime. The maximum is 8 installments and 6 plans per person.
