The World Trade Organization (WTO) has decided to postpone "sine die" the 12th Ministerial Conference that was scheduled to be held next week due to the travel restrictions that many countries have imposed to stop the spread of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, sources close to the organization told Efe.
The decision was made at an emergency meeting of the organization's General Council, after a day in which several governments suspended flights from their countries to southern Africa due to the advance of the omicron variant, considered a risk by the World Health Organization (WHO).
