The General Directorate of Customs determined the reference values for squid and powdered milk through the General Resolutions of AFIP 5014/2021 and 5015/2021, published today (24.06.2021) in the Official Gazette.
In this way, the agency that integrates the AFIP continued with the process of reestablishing reference values for export products, A tool to identify possible abusive maneuvers in foreign trade.
Thus, they set for exports of frozen squid, depending on each variety, values per kilo between USD 1,83 and USD 2,24. These prices apply when the merchandise is destined for countries in Groups 1, 3, 7, 8, 13 and 23: Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Russia, United States, Canada, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, Myanmar, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Korea, China, Canada and Japan, among others.
In the case of exports of milk powder, values were established USD 2,7 to USD 3,8 per kilogram, depending on the variety of the merchandise. The main destinations are the countries in Groups 2, 7, 9 and 13: Russia, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Canada, Saudi Arabia and China, among others.
The provisions of these general resolutions shall apply from the second administrative business day, inclusive, following their publication in the Official Gazette.
Last year, the Government, through Customs, began to establish reference values for various production complexes and industries, as part of trade management measures.
To date, reference values have been set for hides and skins, beef, pork, pear tomatoes, concentrated must, garlic, blueberries, onions, potatoes, raisins, sea bass, powdered milk and squid.
