The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) communicated the response to queries on tariff classification of six goods agreed upon at the MERCOSUR level, through the General Resolution 5207/2022.
The regulations, published this Wednesday (14.06.2022/618/1997) in the Official Gazette, indicated that such tariff classifications for the determined merchandise and the respective technical guidelines were issued within the framework of the powers conferred to the DGA by Decree No. 204/2017 and Provision No. XNUMX/XNUMX.
The decision on tariff classification of the respective goods is detailed in the annex to the regulations below:
It is specified that tariff classification responses are a technical document containing a detailed description of the physical, technical, usage and commercial characteristics of the merchandise, which is ultimately translated into common customs language.
