The General Directorate of Customs, an agency that is part of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP), established reference values for exports of cranberries, blueberries and other fruits of the genus Vaccinium, in immediate packaging with a net content of less than or equal to 2,5 kg, destined for Canada and the United States.
This is established in Annexes I (IF-2020-00872241-AFIP-DVDAAD#DGADUA) and II (IF-2020-00872278-AFIP-DVDAAD#DGADUA) of the General Resolution 4880/2020, published this Tuesday (15.12.2020) in the Official Gazette.
The regulations mention in the Considerations that this is due to studies carried out by the Valuation and Document Verification Directorate, advising to establish reference values for the analyzed merchandise with the purpose of being used by the control areas within the scope of their competences, in order to safeguard the fiscal interest.
This Resolution shall apply from the second administrative business day, inclusive, following its publication in the Official Gazette.
