The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) is streamlining procedures for the authorization of fiscal warehouses by fully digitalizing submissions, granting longer periods for the adaptation of procedures and simplifying processes for foreign trade operators.
La General Resolution No. 5182, published this Thursday (07.04.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, updates the regulations that established the Requirements for the authorization of tax warehouses. Bonded warehouses are operational establishments authorized by the DGA, which depend on the AFIP for carrying out foreign trade operations, under the control of the customs service, where solid, liquid or gaseous goods are stored. Their administration can be either state or private.
The regulation optimizes and deepens controls over foreign trade operations. To this end, it establishes the Complete digitalization of presentations, one of the pillars of the organization's management.
Permit holders will have 365 days to adapt to the new requirements, With the Possibility of extending this period for another 365 days. Regarding the temporary tax warehouses, will go from the current period of between 90 and 365 days, to 365 days with the possibility of extending it to another 365 more, with prior authorization.
The regulations also grant the Possibility of transferring a portion of fiscal property to a courier service provider, while also improving the traceability of merchandise stock control.
