Customs updates rates for imports and exports by air

The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) updated the value of the Summary Rate that is applied to imports and exports that are carried out by air, through the Resolution 12 / 2020.

According to the regulations, published this Wednesday (28.10.2020) in the Official Gazette, Customs set in $552 is the rate paid by foreign trade operators for "extraordinary services."

The measure affects imports and exports channeled through different airports.

The Summary Rate is a fixed amount paid by importers and exporters for each declared transport document carried out by air.

Starting Thursday, October 29, for each transport document of the Import and Export Manifests presented to the customs service at the airports, this value must be paid.

The last update of this rate was in February 2019.
