The Federal Public Revenue Administration updated the regulations regarding the functions of Verifying Guard for agents working in Customs offices in the interior of the country in order to implement such function within the scope of the Buenos Aires Customs Directorate, as well as in the Ezeiza Customs Directorate.
Merchandise for cruises and baggage regime
According to General Resolution 4299/2018, published in the Official Gazette this Wednesday (29.8.2018) it is of interest to provide these operational areas with the functionality and specialization in the control of the supply of merchandise for cruises and the baggage regime.
Buenos Aires and Ezeiza
According to the standard "The selection of the agents assigned to carry out the function in question will be made by those with known suitability. for compliance with the same, being responsible for the evaluation of such attributes in the Customs of the Interior, the respective administrators of each customs, and in the scope of the Customs Offices of Buenos Aires and Ezeiza, their respective directors.
On the other hand, it is clarified that the Verifiers-Guards "will depend functionally and administratively on the corresponding organic unit of the magazine, as the case may be."
Export
It also defines export as "anything that is considered to be easy verification or in which other official bodies intervene for the purposes of determining quality.".
Finally, the resolution, signed by Leandro Cuccioli, comes into force today.
