The transport and freight company Combex-In implemented improvements in the General Cargo area of the La Aurora International Airport, in Guatemala City. This is works that will contribute to strengthening controls and reducing clearance times at Aduana Express Aéreo, according to information from the Superintendency of Tax Administration (SAT).
This Tuesday, the presentation of the improvements of the The project to modernize and facilitate clearance processes in the import area was attended and supported by the SAT Customs Superintendent, Werne Ovalle.
In detail, the works involve a platform with a new roof that will provide greater security for the staff and an extension of the ramp in the General Cargo area that will improve service, facilitating control at the time of merchandise inspection, according to the published data.
The improvements are part of the Comprehensive Customs Modernization Program in accordance with the World Customs Organization (OMA), and in line with Guatemala's commitment as a country within the framework of the World Trade Organization Trade Facilitation Agreement (WTO).
