The Ministry of Economy, through the Secretariat for Production Coordination, is calling on companies to apply for quotas to import hybrid, electric and low-consumption vehicles with a zero rate (0%) of the Extra-Zone Import Duty (DIE), within the framework of Decree No. 49/25. The measure was made official today (6.10.2025) through the Resolution No. 377/2025.

The program establishes a total quota of 50.000 vehicles by 2026, distributed in:
- 25.000 units for automotive manufacturers based in Argentina.
- 25.000 units for other importing or marketing legal entities.
Vehicles with a FOB unit value less than USD 16.000Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Remote Procedures (TAD) platform. to el 16th October 2025.

With this measure, which will come into force effective October 8, the day after its publication in the Official Gazette, the Ministry of Economy promotes the modernization of the vehicle fleet, in line with sustainability and industrial development.
