On video: the emotional farewell of a pure-blooded customs officer who retired

-

This is Mrs. Aida Inés Moro, a long-time lawyer in the "Legal" department of the Argentine Customs.

During her long customs career (no less than 38 years), the lawyer worked in the Tax Cases Divisions, where she was even Head of Division, having been Advisor to the Judicial and Standards Advisory Department, as well as Advisor to the Customs Advisory Department, where she finally obtained the rank of Head of Department.

Her colleagues recognise her as an “excellent colleague”, always well-disposed and, furthermore, as a “true source of knowledge”, which is worth learning from.

In the corridors of the Customs offices, it is said that she instilled these values in the new lawyers who joined the Agency. At her emotional retirement, her husband, children, colleagues, friends, bosses and authorities, both from the Customs and the Union (SUPARA), were present.

He received a well-deserved plaque from the Union (SUPARA) and a moving farewell.

It should be noted that at the Customs Palace there is a healthy custom whereby retiring staff usually go to the door of the building, descending its historic steps amidst papers and applause.

With that ending of “Happy Retirement”, the employees of the Agency really leave being identified with the Customs and with a sense of belonging, as shown Customs News in the video of the last few hours.
