During the operations, carried out in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Parque Chacabuco, AFIP agents surveyed A workshop with 38 workers, 57% of whom were completely “unregistered”.
It was also found that they carried out their work in places without the corresponding municipal authorisation, in the absence of minimum safety conditions, such as outdated fire extinguishers and unsafe electrical installations.
Based on the irregularities detected, the AFIP staff proceeded to close another of the workshops involved, where the 14 relieved workers also performed their tasks without being registered by his employer, of Korean nationality and that he was not registered for any tax. The National Economic Criminal Court on duty, headed by Dr. Gustavo Meirovich, immediately intervened and upheld the measure.

At the end of the operation, and as a result of having been detected at the site Undocumented people, mostly of Bolivian nationality, the National Directorate of Migration was called in. Likewise, the Directorate of Safety and Hygiene of the GCBA was informed of the precarious conditions in which the textile establishment was operating.
It should be noted that the employees were relieved by the use of technology Online Registered Work (TRL) which allows you to instantly verify whether or not the worker is declared by his or her employer.
Thanks to this IT tool, AFIP has increased the efficiency of social security controls, promoting inclusion and encouraging employment registration in sectors with the greatest informality.
