Through the Decree 787 / 2022, the Government formalized the Export Increase Program, which reestablishes the Differentiated exchange rate for the export of soybeans and derivatives at a value of $230.
The regulations, published this Monday (28.11.2022) in the Official Gazette, indicate that the measure will be for "those subjects who have exported at any time in the 18 months immediately prior" to the date and, again, adherence to the program will be voluntary.
The “Export Increase Program” will be in effect from today until Friday, December 30 with the goal of raising at least USD 3000 billion.
The decree's recitals state that "the increase in the supply of foreign currency contributes to alleviating the negative impact on local imports of the rise in fuel and energy prices, which severely affects the availability of external reserves," which is why it was decided to reestablish the soybean dollar for one more month.
The regulations also authorize the Ministry of Economy to issue 10-year US dollar bills "for up to an amount that covers the equity difference for the operations of this decree that occurred at the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic."
