The Ministry of Productive Development, through the Secretariat of Industry, Knowledge Economy and Foreign Trade Management, has imposed a new antidumping duty, through the Resolution 7 / 2021.
This is the toy imports, in this case, tricycles, except with electric motor, originating in the People's Republic of China, merchandise that is classified in the tariff position of the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur (NCM) 9503.00.10, according to the regulations, published this Thursday (28.01.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.
According to a report by the National Foreign Trade Commission, the national production branch of 'Tricycles, except with electric motor' suffers significant damage", and that "...this significant damage (...) is caused by dumped imports originating in the People's Republic of China, thus establishing the extremes of the causal relationship required for the application of definitive measures", as expressed in the recitals of the cited resolution.
Accordingly, the text indicates that "it has been resolved to set, for export operations to the Argentine Republic of Tricycles, except with electric motors originating in the People's Republic of China, a Definitive Ad Valorem antidumping duty calculated on the FOB export values of thirty point twenty one percent (30,21%), which must be paid by the importer at the time of dispatch of the merchandise to the market.
According to the resolution, this measure will begin to govern from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette for a period of five (5) years.
