The Government formalizes the extension of the suspension of embargoes on SMEs and tax executions until the end of the month

-

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) formalized the extension of the suspension of embargoes on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and tax executions until February 28th.

The measure of the General Resolution 4926/2021, published this Monday (01.02.2021) in the Official Gazette, makes it easier for taxpayers and responsible parties to comply with their tax obligations.

The suspension of embargoes for SMEs extends the period previously provided for in the regulations by one month.

The regulations state that "in order to mitigate its effects and generate the necessary conditions to achieve the recovery of productive activity and preserve sources of employment, this Federal Administration has been adopting a series of measures with the aim of facilitating taxpayers and responsible parties in fulfilling their tax obligations, the application, collection and inspection of which are its responsibility."

The provisions of the new general resolution come into effect immediately.
