The Government distributes quota to export meat to Colombia

The Ministry of Agriculture distributed the quota of 504,831 tons of beef for export to Colombia among six meat packing plants, through the Resolution 2 / 2021.

According to the regulations, published this Wednesday (20.01.2021) in the Official Gazette, the amount to be exported must enter Colombia by December 31, 2021.

Colombia assigned Argentina a quota of 858,07 tons of beef.

The resolution specified that the remaining balance of 353,239 tons will be integrated into the Free Availability Fund.

As for the distribution of the quota, Offal, Swift and Frigorifico Gorina were assigned 85,807 tons each; Quickfood, Marfrig and Campo del Tesoro were assigned 82,47 tons each.
