The Argentine government congratulated Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the new president and vice president of the United States, while calling for strengthening bilateral relations.
A message posted on Wednesday (20.01.2020) on the official account of the Foreign Ministry also advocates respecting multilateral organizations and "not betting on the disunity of our nations as in the previous stage."
In a ceremony in which he called for unity, Joe Biden was sworn in as the forty-sixth president of the United States, after winning the elections on November 3.
