Productive Development will allocate $3.000 billion to promote the productive transformation of SMEs

The Ministry of Productive Development launched the call for the SME Productive Transformation line for $3.000 million, which will have the support of the National Fund for Productive Development (Fondep) and will be Aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with strategic projects that improve their productivity, increase exports and promote the development of their value chain.

He did it through the Resolution 585 / 2021 published today (22.09.2021/40/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, which creates the SME Productive Development Program, in charge of the Secretariat of Small and Medium Enterprises, and which will provide assistance of up to $XNUMX million in non-reimbursable contributions (ANR) to companies with strategic productivity projects, to promote the transformation of MSMEs, the development of their value chain and increase exports.

This new line of SME productive transformation proposes increasing companies' investment in technological processes that allow them to optimize their production; strengthen their productive reconversion; increase and improve the product offering; increase exportable products and consolidate export destinations.

Also in promote the added value to productionion through design, innovation and 4.0 technology.

In turn, the program promotes projects for productive activities in the green economy, resource efficiency, implementation of circular processes and environmental adaptation.

To apply for the ANR, Companies must have a valid SME registration and at least two years of activity.

The non-refundable contribution will cover up to 70% of the strategic project of each company, which must contribute at least 30% of the total amount of the initiative.

SMEs interested in the call for the SME Productive Transformation program must be dedicated to the production of manufactures of industrial or agricultural origin, or to services that have a sustainable development project.

Assistance from non-refundable contributions will finance consulting and technical assistance services, aimed at incorporating improvements in technical, commercial and productive aspects, such as certifications, tests, approvals, authorizations, mold and die designs, programming of digital systems, implementation of improvements in sustainable development and management technologies.

It will also finance the acquisition of new capital goods of national origin, equipment and facilities and start-up, and the plant expansion or technological modernizationIt will also finance up to 10% of the total ANR amount in incremental working capital associated with the project.

This item may include the acquisition of supplies, raw materials and intermediate goods, salaries of new staff, without including the payment of contributions or social security contributions.
