Chilean President Sebastián Piñera confirmed that he will receive Jair Bolsonaro, winner of the Brazilian elections on October 28, 2018.
"Today I had a frank and useful conversation with the President-elect of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, who will visit Chile," he wrote on his personal Twitter account.
Piñera said they discussed the Free Trade Agreement that is being negotiated between the two countries and also the Bioceanic Corridor that will link the Atlantic with Chilean ports on the Pacific.
Finally, the President of Chile pointed out that Brazil is a "continental country and an important strategic ally."

Jair Bolsonaro is the president-elect of Brazil, a position that he will begin to exercise effectively from January 1, 2019 to January 1, 2023.
