Difficulties in transferring foreign currency are increasing

-

Businessmen from the import sector have once again expressed their complaints about various official maneuvers to delay access to the exchange market and prevent the transfer of dollars abroad.

"Today (Tuesday) we continue with the turbulence in the exchange market to pay for imports. Yesterday the Single Foreign Trade Current Account (CCUCE) did not work all day," he said. Aduana News a source from the financial sector.

"Eighty percent of the transactions submitted for validation for payment of imported goods and services were rejected. In addition, two new errors appeared: 80 (the transaction could not be validated) and 46 (the source document could not be validated)," said the same source.

He explained that, as he was able to find out -unofficially- both errors appear when someone tries to access the exchange market to pay.

"More than 30 days have passed since the date of payment for the delivery to the market with SIRA or SIMI. Therefore, only debt for imports from the last month can be paid. This implies an import corralito for those operations that expired more than 30 days ago," he observed.
