There is a consensus that public-private collaboration is a necessary strategic element to make a significant leap towards trade facilitation and stimulate the economic competitiveness of countries. In this context, the International Association of Professional Customs Agents (IACA)ASAPRA) invites you to participate in the first version of the survey to understand the user experience in one-stop trade windows in Latin America. The consultation will take place from October 09 to 23, 2023.
ASAPRA said the survey is aimed at all trade and transport agents, who use the tool to submit standardized information and documents through a single entry point to complete the procedures related to export, import and transit operations.
The survey will provide an insight into the views of customs agents, the main users of the single window for foreign trade, as well as revealing the discrepancies of economic operators in this regard.
It was also stated that the main objective of collecting this information is to carry out an in-depth investigation to adjust the information to international standards.
The survey will include people from Latin American countries such as: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Beyond such descriptions, Customs News considered it interesting to deepen the initiative with its protagonists. That is why he spoke with Yuri Da Cunha, one of the project leaders, who said that "the survey is an opportunity for the users of the most important foreign trade tool to be heard."
To this end, ASAPRA extends the invitation to all people to participate in the consultation, which will last approximately 5 minutes.
