Exports with the Argentine Foods seal tripled

The data for the same quarter of 2018 involved 162 certificates, for a value of 5.182.755 USD/FOB and a volume of 5.389 tons, the Secretariat of Government of Agroindustry specified this Thursday (9.5.2019) in a statement.

According to the Secretariat, Also relevant is the fact that the products exported in the first quarter of last year were lemons, raisins and yerba mate, while this year seven more were added: olive oil, blueberries, frozen cooked beef fillets, organic honey, concentrated grape must, frozen pre-fried potatoes and pistachios..

As for products considered with other distinctions, such as Geographical Indication or Denomination of Origin (IG/DO), four export refund certificates were managed for Yerba Mate destined for Syria, for a total volume of 3.810 tons and a FOB value of US$ 7.354.524,61.
