Chaco: Enabling of the “Roque Saenz Peña” Customs Operational Zone is extended

-

The national government provisionally extended the authorization of the “Presidente Roque Saenz Peña” Customs Operational Zone in the jurisdiction of the Barranqueras Customs Division in the province of Chaco.

This is reported by the Resolution 20 / 2018 published this Tuesday (6.11.2018) in the Official Gazette. In addition, the rule establishes that the extension of the provisional authorization will be granted by three hundred and sixty days due to the completion of the first stage of the works, which allow the development of the control functions of the customs service.

It is also noted that the Chaco Planning and Project Undersecretariat will communicate the new date for these, maintaining the commitment to carry them out.

In this regard, the regulations, signed by the Director of Customs, Diego Dávila, clarify that the construction and/or acquisition of offices with basic and essential services and internet connectivity for customs service personnel must be considered as priorities of the Works Plan in the second stage to be completed.
