The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) modified the rules regarding the import and export of goods by Postal / Courier Services through Resolution General 4259/2018.
According to the norm, the Providers of such Postal Services may carry out an import or export for consumption in a simplified manner, provided that the FOB value of the goods to be exported do not exceed 1.000 dollars for each forwarding sender. While the FOB value of the goods to be imported must be 3.000 dollars for each recipient.
In addition, it clarifies that this will apply to those shipments that have not yet been released to the market.
