AFIP extended the increase in the Malvinas system tariff for 90 days

-

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) has extended for 90 days the effective date of the obligation to pay a single, fixed fee of US$30 for each operation documented through the Malvinas Information System (SIM).

The AFIP fee for each operation documented by the SIM had been increased last week from the current level of US$ 10, which will remain in effect until August 3, according to the report.Solution 4.041 which is published this Monday (08.05.2017/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.

The extension was justified in the “current context and in order to carry out a new analysis in relation to the facilitation, simplification and support of the growth of international trade,” according to the norm signed by the head of the Federal Administration, Alberto Abad.

The increase in tariffs for cross-border operations had provoked strong rejection from entities and companies that operate in foreign trade.

The original AFIP resolution, number 4040, pointed out the need to “effectively address the proposed strategic objectives” and “deal with the high costs of appropriate technological innovation.”
