AFIP exempts registration of biometric data until September 30

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) ordered exempt taxpayers from the obligation to register their biometric data for one more month. Thus, until September 30, they do not have to go to the offices to register their photo, signature and fingerprint.

This is established by the General Resolution 4801/2020 published this Friday (28.08.2020) in the Official Gazette.

The legislation It also extends until the end of next month the possibility for those who recover their tax code through an ATM to obtain a level 3 code.

The resolution also provides for maintaining the obligation to carry out a series of presentations digitally that until now were carried out in person.

The decision is part of AFIP's strategy to expand its digital window and facilitate procedures within the framework of mandatory preventive social distancing and isolation measures.
