The AFIP carried out 12 raids to defuse a tax evasion scheme carried out by an economic group made up of four firms engaged in meat packing and slaughtering activities, which allegedly evaded 4 billion pesos.
The AFIP has currently carried out 12 raids to defuse a tax evasion scheme carried out by an economic group made up of four firms engaged in meat packing and slaughtering activities, which allegedly evaded 4 billion pesos.
The raids were ordered by the National Economic Criminal Court No. 6, headed by Dr. Marcelo Aguinsky, and Secretariat No. 12, headed by Dr. Guillermo Brugo.
The maneuvers investigated fall on the Tresnal Group SRL which is made up of Tresnal Agropecuaria S.A., Frigorífico Navarro S.A., Agropecuaria El Chañar S.A. and Las Marianas S.R.L.
The firms involved evaded VAT, Income Tax, Personal Assets, Social Security Contributions, among other taxes.
The procedures were carried out in the Federal Capital and the Buenos Aires towns of Mercedes, Navarro and Florida.
While one of the procedures was being carried out, in 25 de Mayo, the commercial headquarters of Tresnal Agropecuaria SA, the raided persons threw boxes with documentation into a neighbouring plot of land. They were later recovered by court order.
One hundred AFIP agents participated in the operations, along with the National Gendarmerie. The case is under confidentiality.
