The World Customs Organization (WCO) announced today (29.05.2024/2022/XNUMX) the translation into Spanish of the universal economic language for the fluidity of international trade, the Harmonized System XNUMX edition. Users can consult its content on the platform Trade Tools of the WCO.
“This important addition represents a milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing equitable access and quality resources to our global customs and trade community,” the WCO said on its website.
For consultations, professionals who prefer Spanish can now consult the extensive information offered by the Harmonized System.
In this regard, the WCO outlined the benefits that translation offers to users:
- Official content: The Spanish interpretation of the Harmonized System guarantees access to vital information on international trade. In this sense, COMALEP's official translation guarantees precision and reliability.
- Historical content and user-friendly interface: In addition to the HS 2022 in Spanish, users will find historical data, including the HS 2017 also in Spanish. The WCO tool facilitates a seamless comparison between English and Spanish content, providing users with comprehensive information for informed decision-making.
- Access to Spanish translation: Access to the Spanish translation of the Harmonized System 2022 is easy. Users can visit Trade Tools from the WCO, explore the content of the Harmonized System and change the language settings to Spanish.
The WCO has adopted two official languages: English and French. The correct interpretation and translation of these languages, both spoken and written, is of great value to the work of the Organization, because it is precisely what allows clear and concise communication in customs matters of global importance.WCO News)
