Agents of the National Service for Health and Agri-Food Quality (Senasa) The first export of 56 tons of frozen beef to the People's Republic of China was certified at the port of La Plata, the organization officially reported.

The inspectors checked the identity and correspondence of the seals, container number and the appropriate temperature, and then during loading the cargo was supervised and signed for on board.
The loading of the Gorina Frigorífico merchandise and its dispatch was carried out from the Tec Plata terminal, 60 kilometers from CABA, where the Border Supervisor of the Metropolitan Regional Center of Senasa, Luis Calascibetta, participated, together with personnel from the Buenos Aires port office.
Authorities and officials from the government of the province of Buenos Aires, and from the municipalities of Berisso and Ensenada also attended.
The head of inspection of the Port Office of the region, Gonzalo Duhart, stressed that "The opening of this terminal is important for the Agency due to the characteristics of the terminal, which will achieve proximity to large industrial centers, generate consumption in the metropolitan area and the Buenos Aires suburbs, thus becoming the Argentine port on the Río de la Plata closest to the Atlantic Ocean.
