Paraguay: Authorities renew agreement for the sustainability of the Electronic System of the Single Window for Exporters

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) and the Consortium of the Single Export Window (Convue) renewed on Friday (24.03.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX) for five more years the public-private cooperation and participation agreement for the sustainability of the electronic system from the Single Exporter Window (VUE).

The purpose of the subscription is to provide this system with the infrastructure, technical, financial and administrative assistance necessary for the viability and scalability of the management system and its expansion to other aspects related to foreign and domestic trade.

Furthermore, the aim is to contribute in the most effective way possible to the maintenance and improvement of the electronic management system of the foreign trade simplification service of the Republic of Paraguay, with the aim of making it a reliable tool with the best available standards.

El Deputy Minister of Commerce of the MIC, Pedro Mancuello, highlighted that the Single Export Window (VUE) is a powerful ally of economic development and laid the foundations for other electronic systems, such as the Unified System for Opening and Closing Companies.

The VUE System also incorporated a online payment system, what allowed streamline the exporter's procedures before the State and the generation of traceable information at zero cost.

The portfolio explained that such service is aimed at benefiting the users of export operations, records and other MIC services: Exporters, Customs Brokers, Certifying Entities, Public Institutions, Guilds, Private Institutions (chambers, transporters, etc.) Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Citizenship.

Thus, the Exporter's Single Window contributes to the simplification and standardization of foreign trade procedures. Its success to date in facilitating trade translates into reduced times and costs. Proof of this are the investments and initiatives for continuous improvement both in the Republic of Paraguay and in the region.
