Panama: Customs expands technical support for the implementation of the PORTCEL platform

As of January 1, 2023, the new functions of the Integrated Customs Management System (SIGA) and the Foreign Trade and Logistics Technology Portal (PORTCEL) will come into effect.

In light of such authorization, the National Customs Authority (ANA) of Panama informed today (29.12.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX) all the Shipping agencies, freight agencies and shipping companies those in charge of presenting maritime cargo manifests that, in accordance with the provisions of Resolution 102 of May 25, 2022, must declare all the required information (fields) added in article 2 of the aforementioned document, as appropriate.

He explained that for this implementation lANA has established a help desk which will provide support from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm from January 1 to 15, including weekends.

SIGA, the Integrated Customs Management System, facilitates and enables the exchange of electronic information between the different actors in the commercial community, the consenting bodies of the different Ministries and the National Customs Authority of Panama.
