The Ministry of Productive Development through the Secretariat of Industry, Knowledge Economy and Foreign Trade Management has decided to open an investigation for alleged dumping based on two requests initiated by companies that claim to be harmed in the reference imports, through Resolutions 288 y 289 of 2020.
On first case, it is about export to the Argentine Republic of “Crowns, chain sprockets and crown and pinion sets or crown, pinion and chain or crown and chain or pinion and chain, presented in common packaging, of a type used in motorcycles (including mopeds)”, originating in the People's Republic of China which is classified in the tariff position of the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM) 8714.10.00.
According to the analyses carried out by the enforcement authorities, it has been determined: "The opening of an investigation for alleged dumping in export operations to the Argentine Republic of "Crowns, sprockets for chains and sets of crown and pinion or crown, pinion and chain or crown and chain or pinion and chain, presented in a common packaging, of the type used in motorcycles (including mopeds)", originating in the People's Republic of China, merchandise that is classified in the tariff position of the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur (NCM) 8714.10.00.
On second of the cases, these are export operations to the Argentine Republic.Toluene diisocyanate 80:20, with tolerances between 82-78 and between 18-22 of its constituent isomers”, originating from the United States of America, Merchandise classified in the tariff position of the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur (NCM) 2929.10.21.
In a similar resolution, the following has been ordered: » The opening of an investigation for alleged dumping in export operations to the Argentine Republic of "Toluene Diisocyanate 80:20, with tolerances between 82-78 and between 18-22 of its constituent isomers", originating in the United States of America, merchandise classified in the tariff position of the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur (NCM) 2929.10.21, is declared appropriate.
