The National Government has published today (25.02.2025/XNUMX/XNUMX) a series of resolutions that establish new technical regulations and modify current regulations with the aim of simplifying regulations and facilitating trade in various sectors of the economy. Among the main provisions of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce They stand out:

1. Quality and safety regulation

    • La Resolution 16 / 2025 approves the Technical Regulations for electrical equipment, establishing essential quality and safety requirements.Here
    • La Resolution 17 / 2025 defines standards for the marketing of machines and equipment in the country. Here
    • La Resolution 18 / 2025 establishes quality and safety criteria for equipment, means and personal protection elements. Here

    2. Review and elimination of obsolete regulations

    • La Resolution 20 / 2025 repeals the regulations applicable to petroleum and derivatives meters, due to their lack of precision and adequacy to current technical criteria. Here

    3. Facilitation of procedures and fees:

    • La Resolution 22 / 2025 implements a Single Tariff per procedure, equivalent to a Mobile Unit, for metrological procedures in the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce. Here
