The President of the Nation appointed Alan Claudio Bernaud as permanent representative of Argentina to the MERCOSUR and Latin American Integration Association (Aladi), residing in the city of Montevideo.
This is established by the Decree 29 / 2024, published today (09.01.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, the text of which refers to the cancellation of the transfer from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Republic of Costa Rica of Beraud and his appointment as ambassador to that Central American country.
The rule also states that the expenses required to comply with such a decision will be charged to the specific items in the budget of Jurisdiction 35 – Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.
In the section containing the considerations, it indicates that the appointment of the President is in accordance with the power to decide on the matter, in accordance with the powers conferred by article 99, paragraphs 1 and 7 of the National Constitution.
The supreme appointment has the signature of the President of the Argentine Republic, Javier Gerardo Milei; and the Foreign Minister, Diana Mondino.
