Less than a week after announcing the dissolution of the AFIP and the creation of the Customs Regulation and Control Agency (ARCA), dedicated to the application, collection and inspection of national taxes and the control of foreign trade activities, the Government has announced new appointments.
Through Provision 178/2024, the ARCA confirmed the appointment of the Eng. Gustavo Javier Araujo as the new director of the Ezeiza Customs Directorate. Araujo, who worked as a customs control operator (guard) at the Ford Domestic Customs Office (DV CF04), has experience in customs inspection.
The Ezeiza Customs Office, which is part of the General Subdirectorate of Metropolitan Customs Operations, is a strategic division in compliance with the regulations applicable to the general regime of import and export baggage.
