Electronic invoicing for self-employed workers will be in effect from April

-

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) reminds that starting next Monday, the use of electronic invoices will be mandatory for all categories of the Monotributo.

– Categories B to K: are already required to issue electronic invoices.

– Category A: from April 1, 2019

In order to issue electronic receipts, taxpayers must first register a new point of sale., different from the one they used to invoice manually.

This management must be carried out by entering the site website of the organization, from the “Administration of points of sale and addresses” service. Then, they will be able to invoice electronically from the “Online Receipts” system or from the Mobile Billing App.

It should be noted that the AFIP progressively incorporated the different categories of the Simplified Regime until finally adding the “A” category.

Taxpayers who choose to issue their receipts using fiscal controllers are exempt from this obligation. In this case, they must first request authorization for the equipment.
