The 12th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) will be extended by one more day, until thursday (16.06.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX), to facilitate the achievement of results on issues such as food safety, fisheries or vaccines.

So This was confirmed at a press conference by WTO spokesman Daniel Pruzin, who noted that the decision was communicated to the delegations today by the president and vice-presidents of the conference, so the closing ceremony has been provisionally scheduled for this Thursday at 15.00:XNUMX p.m. Geneva time.

At the meeting of Heads of Delegation late on June 14, the Director General Okonjo-Iweala urged members to go the extra mile to find convergence on the various issues at stake at the ministerial meeting and to take into account that time is running out to conclude significant agreements.
