-

The Director General of Customs, Rosana Lodovico, received the Award for Outstanding Woman in Economic Sciences at an event held by the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

When she went up on stage, the Dr. Lodovico She said: “It is truly an honour for me to receive this award. I remember, at the end of 1992, when I had just graduated, my greatest professional challenge was to be able to enroll in the Council because it was what would give formality to my qualification.”

Today I have the opportunity to be the General Director of Customs and I would like to thank, above all, my family, who gave me the resources and the opportunity to be who I am today. I also thank the work mentors who helped me throughout my career and, especially, my daughter, who gives me strength every day to get up and keep going.”

Also awarded in this edition were Dr. María Florencia Fernández Sabella (Professional Field), Dr. Carolina Lorena Szpak (Academic Field), Dr. Laura Julieta Lichtmaier (Business Field) and, finally, Dr. María Cristina Zinko (NGO Field).
