LThe Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) decided to extend the tax holiday until November 29The measure implies the extension of the suspension of the calculation of the current deadlines for ex officio determinations, investigations, fines, discharges, summons and closures, according to a statement from the AFIP. However, the agency clarified that “different inspection procedures continue to be enabled.”
General Resolution 4856 will be published in the next few hours in the Official Gazette. This incorporates the current exceptions to the audit procedures arising from the detection of false billing. The controls carried out by the AFIP on these maneuvers had not been suspended, but from now on, the deadlines for taxpayers to respond to requests and notices will begin to apply.
Furthermore, The resolution keeps the inspections enabled carried out based on the information provided by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on Argentine accounts abroad, as well as that arising from the exchange of information within the framework of international agreements and conventions. Likewise, the procedures carried out for transfer pricing remain in force.
On the other hand, the regulations also support electronic audits, those non-face-to-face controls and verifications that are processed entirely online.
